NANA AKOTO
Principal Solicitor

Nana has a bachelor of law degree (LLB), a LLM in Commercial and Maritime Law (Commendation) and a postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice (Commendation) Nana is a people-oriented solicitor with excellent interpersonal and strong advisory experience. He is highly skilled in supporting clients while identifying legal issues and recommending positive routes forward.

Nana’s practice is focused on Landlord and Tenant and he conducts a great deal of legal work involving Assured and assured shorthold tenancies, Recovery of rent arrears, Possession pre-action protocols and Enforcement of possession order for his clients.

Nana is also the Director of the Dispute Resolution Department at Westbury Solicitors. He has continuously generated solutions to a range of demanding and complex client issues and challenged his team to expand their client reach and service offering.

Nana’s approach to legal issues is both holistic and constructive. Clients describe him as knowledgeable, friendly and a tenacious professional.Nana is married with two adult children. He is an aviation enthusiast and in his free time attends air shows and spends time on his flight simulator. Nana enjoys flying and holds both a CAA and FAA Private Pilots licence.

JAN JANECZEK
COMMERCIAL PARALEGAL

Jan has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at Durham University, a Graduate Diploma in Law (Distinction) from the University of Law and is currently undertaking a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University College London. Jan has also previously studied abroad in China during secondary school and also attended the National University of Singapore during an exchange year.

 

Jan is a Paralegal at Westbury Solicitors, involved in a variety of cases including Dispute Resolution, Landlord and Tenant as well as Immigration matters. Jan can assist clients with new enquiries, including providing initial legal advice and keeping current clients up to date regarding their cases. He is aware that both commercial and private cases can often be complex, and is driven to provide assistance to clients in order for them to gain access to justice and compensation.

 

Jan is approachable and friendly and likes a challenge, and believes that every client is entitled to high-quality legal services. In his spare time, Jan enjoys learning foreign languages, hiking and going to the gym. Jan hopes to become a qualified solicitor in the future
